Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CareerOS ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the CareerOS product at careeros.caraccessorylab.com and any related services.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What CareerOS is

CareerOS is a resume-analysis workspace for job seekers. It scores resumes against applicant-tracking-system criteria, gives section-by-section feedback, drafts improved wording and cover letters, helps you build a CV, and lets you track the applications you submit yourself.

CareerOS does not list jobs, aggregate job postings, match you with jobs, or let employers post jobs or hire through it. What you do with your improved resume — where you apply, and whether you get hired — is entirely up to you and the employers you approach.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use CareerOS. If you are under 18, you may only use a paid plan with a parent or guardian's permission, and they accept these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

One person per account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.

Plans and billing

CareerOS offers a free plan and paid plans (subscriptions and one-time credit packs). The current plans, prices, and quotas are shown on the pricing page, and prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

Paid plans are billed through our third-party payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record: your receipt comes from them, they process your payment details, and we never see or store your card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until the payment succeeds.

Quotas (scans, analyses, improvements) reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over unless the plan says so. Credit packs never expire.

Refunds

If you buy a paid plan and ask within 7 days of your first purchase, we will refund it in full — no questions asked. After that window, subscription renewals and used credit packs are non-refundable.

To request a refund, contact us at the address below with the email on your account. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment provider and can take several business days to appear.

Acceptable use

Use CareerOS for your own job search. You must not: break the law through the service; upload content you have no right to use; probe, scan, or overload our systems; scrape or bulk-extract other users' data; resell or share paid access; or try to bypass quotas, paywalls, or access controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users — with or without prior notice where the situation requires it.

AI-generated content

Parts of CareerOS use AI to draft resume wording, scores, and suggestions. AI output is a starting draft, not professional career advice: it can be wrong, generic, or miss context only you know. Review everything before you use it — nothing generated is final until you approve it.

A score compares your document with what a posting asks for. It is not a prediction of an interview, an offer, or any employer's decision, and CareerOS makes no promise about hiring outcomes.

Your content

You own your resumes, uploads, and everything you create in CareerOS. By using the service you give us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the product for you — for example, to run an analysis you requested or to render a report back to you.

You can export everything we hold about you as a single file at any time, and you can delete your account and its contents from your account settings. Deleting your account here does not cancel a payment agreement held by our payment provider — cancel a paid plan in the billing portal first.

Our intellectual property

CareerOS, its branding, design, and software are owned by us and our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service — not ownership of it. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the service except as the law allows.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free output.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose — or, if you used only the free plan, to zero. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost job opportunities or lost income.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
